  1. Here is my suggestion. Limit the number of tierd engines per grid. I can make it a soft limit or a hard limit. Lets say 2 max large tier 4 thrusters per grid. This would still allow you to get a capital ship up to speed but would REALLY limit a lot of the other problems your talking about. But it wouldent affect people who use them to move miners etc.

  3. it sounds like what your trying to say is we need nuclear laser bombs to deal with the armor and the weight of all of the blocks increased to deal with the thrusters. lol jk I would like to hear what everyone else has to say about this as well. For one i like the Tierd Thrusters just because i can move MUCH larger ships with less engines and honestly the speed mod i only cared about when i was in atmo so i can take it or leave it. But it is nice to have missiles fly fast enough to hit targets.
  4. Since then we have been able to implement several stability improvements, Asteroid Cleanup, Grid Cleanup, and the addition of some minor mod changes. I should be around tonight or tomorrow if you want to get on and give it a try. We have had a few crashes this week but there was also a patch this Tuesday so that's normal. But nothing to the extent you were experiencing back around the 20th. I do not know if I have backups going that far back but if I did, I would be open to looking at respawning anything I could. It is my general practice if a ship is lost at no fault of the owner I do try to make it right one way or another.
  5. Good Morning Everyone! Since last week's patch from Keen, the server has been as stable as a 9-year-old on Ritalin with a box of pixie sticks. Wait sorry that's the users of the server..... sorry I get confused at times. Either way, I just wanted to announce that about 5 days later the server is once again "Stable" and the mods that were planned to be added last week are now on the server!   9. That is what I want to know. I have had a total of 3 reports of this happening but each time i dug into the files the ships are not gone. Considering we have not had a crash in a few days i wonder if the issue is more about things moving during restart. This deserves testing.

  11. Here is how testing works! 1. They have to work.... this is kind of a big one i mean if they are not meant for MP or are just buggy AF then we cannot add them. 2. The author has to have at least updated them to work with the latest versions of the MP Update by KEEN. This rules out nearly anything made prior to July 2018. 3. They will be tested on our test server using a copy of our live server in order to make sure they play nice with more than 1,500 active grids in a server. 4. They cannot break gameplay. This is a weird one that is more situational but if a mod makes any part of the game so easy mode it takes away from the expected fun then we will just not add it. So other than the above the standard stability issues will be checked and other issues looked for.

  14. Everyone has mods they like but the sad truth is most of them are broken. So keeping that in mind, feel free to suggest any mod you want to be added to the server here. Please just reply to this thread with the following details: Name of Mod: Short description of the mod or at least why you want it: Link to Mod on Steam Workshop: Our Compliance Team will review any suggestions for compatibility, stability, and of course MP. If it is found to have bugs that affect Multi-Player or cause instability the mod is automatically rejected. If the mod is not updated since July 27th, 2018 the mod will likely be automatically rejected. If during testing we can see that it is not something OP that ruins the fun for others and that it brings a lot of fun to the table for everyone we will nominate it for addition to the main server. This will just be the first step to adding mods in the future. p.s. One post per mod. That way we can make notes on them individually. Do Not Put 2 or more mods in 1 post.
